As a member of the international Women’s Coffee Alliance Uganda (IWCA) our role as a company is to support women in coffee in Uganda. The chapter has built a network of over 10,000 women in the coffee value chain. Our Role as Finke Seven Seas Traders is to support the alliance by identifying various mass markets for our farmers & youth in the coffee value chain.

Through trade partnerships we plan to create opportunities to train women & girls in business.

Women dealing in other agricultural sectors will not be left out because of the challenges they face while trying to make ends meet. One of the challenges women in Uganda face is co-ownership of land which makes it hard for them to execute projects. As Finke Seven-seas Traders, our dream is to see that women in the farming sector prosper so that they can raise funds to purchase their own land. Our company has also sourced for women who grow rice, cocoa, ginger etc.

We create more jobs by building business relationships with international partners through trade.
By carrying out agricultural surveys & ownership verification, encouraging innovation and growth for our clients and partners, providing timely data and information for potential agricultural projects.

Our primary responsibility is to take the lead on the management of the companies’ crop demonstration fields. We are responsible for managing key business relationships in the country, including with project sponsors, entrepreneurs, contractors, and government stakeholders.

Our Products

Our Ugandan coffee beans are grown at high altitudes in rich volcanic soils, resulting in a complex and full-bodied flavor profile. The beans are hand-picked and sun-dried to ensure optimal ripeness and quality. We offer a variety of roast levels, from light to dark, so you can find the perfect coffee to suit your taste. Our coffee is a source of pride for our farmers, who work tirelessly to produce a product that is not only delicious, but also sustainable and socially responsible.

Our Ugandan cocoa beans are carefully selected and processed to create high-quality chocolate that is rich in flavor and texture. The beans are roasted, cracked, and winnowed to remove the outer shell, and then ground into a fine powder. We offer both natural and Dutch-processed cocoa powder, as well as cocoa butter for baking and confectionery applications. Our cocoa is sourced directly from smallholder farmers who use sustainable farming practices to protect the environment and support their communities.

Our Ugandan rice is grown in irrigated fields using sustainable farming practices. We offer a variety of rice types, including long-grain, medium-grain, and basmati. Our rice is carefully milled to remove the outer husk while preserving the bran layer, resulting in a flavorful and nutritious product. It is perfect for use in savory dishes such as stir-fries, pilafs, and curries.

Our Ugandan vanilla beans are hand-picked and sun-dried to produce a fragrant and flavorful product. We offer both whole vanilla beans and pure vanilla extract, which is made by steeping the beans in alcohol and water. Our vanilla is prized by bakers and chefs for its sweet and floral flavor, and is perfect for use in cakes, cookies, and custards.

Our selection of roasted and ground nuts includes peanuts, almonds, and cashews, which are high in protein, fiber, and healthy fats. They are perfect for use in snacks, smoothies, and baked goods, or as a topping for salads and yogurt bowls.

Our Ugandan sesame seeds are carefully roasted to bring out their nutty flavor, and are perfect for use in a variety of cuisines. We offer both white and black sesame seeds, as well as sesame oil for cooking and dressings.

Our Ugandan ginger is freshly harvested and carefully dried to preserve its pungent and spicy flavor. It is perfect for use in teas, marinades, and stir-fries, and is also a natural remedy for nausea and indigestion.

Our juicy and sweet mangoes are grown in the tropical climate of Uganda, and are high in vitamins A and C. They are perfect for use in smoothies, salads, and desserts, or as a healthy snack on their own.

Our pineapples are grown in rich, fertile soil and carefully selected for their sweetness and juiciness. They are high in vitamin C and bromelain, which is a natural digestive enzyme. Pineapples are perfect for use in smoothies, salsas, and desserts, or as a refreshing snack on a hot day.

Our passion fruits are grown in the warm and sunny climate of Uganda, and are high in vitamin C and fiber. They have a tart and tangy flavor that is perfect for use in juices, cocktails, and desserts, or as a topping for yogurt or granola.
